What we are

Summitt Energy is a retail energy marketer who provides natural gas and electricity to homes and businesses across Canada. If you purchase energy from your local utility, then you pay a floating rate. For consumers who prefer the certainty of knowing what they will pay each month and want protection from rising energy costs, Summitt Energy provides fixed price energy programs.

Who we are

Established in 2006, Summitt Energy is Canadian-owned and head-quartered in Mississauga, Ontario. In addition to natural gas and electricity price protection programs, in 2008 Summitt Energy proudly launched the EverGreen Program, designed to offset greenhouse gas emissions from homes in Canada. Summitt Energy purchases natural gas and electricity from one of the world’s largest energy companies. Summitt Energy operates in Ontario, Quebec and British Columbia and is licensed and regulated by the Ontario Energy Board, the British Columbia Utilities Commission and Gaz Métro.

Summitt Energy is a member of the Ontario Energy Association a group of marketers dedicated in providing high quality service and products to our customers.

Our Representatives

Summitt Energy has representatives across Canada who are qualified to enroll consumers in Summitt Energy Programs.

Summitt Energy’s representatives receive ongoing training to ensure they are knowledgeable of regional energy policies, pricing, market trends and provincial regulations. Our regional representatives are supported by a team of customer service agents who are available 7 days a week and can help answer any additional questions you might have.

Summitt Energy Trading and Portfolio team are a group of highly experienced professionals who have worked with Commercial clients in deregulated markets since 1989. The Portfolio Team can provide industry leading pricing, flexible terms and conditions, and the ability to take advantage of market opportunities while keeping you protected with a fixed price. Your Commercial Representative works closely with Summitt Energy’s Portfolio team to ensure they can help meet your unique needs.
