The regulated price of electricity is expected to rise Thursday - perhaps sharply - in the first installment of what will be a series of jumps in the price of power. Upward pressure has been building for the past year as the Ontario Energy Board prepares to announce the prices that customers who aren't covered by fixed-price contracts will pay.
